When I arrived at our home for Sunrise Sunday
I thought where would I place my chair...
Inside or Outside?
Maybe on the front porch by the beautiful stonework.
Then I thought of Andrew our Grandson.. who just turned 10!
More about Andrew later in this blogpost.
Inside I would miss the Sunrise -
windows taped preparing for texturizing.
Garage - probably not.
Let me share with you one area of our home I discovered
before I show you the sunrise.
Let me share with you one area of our home I discovered
before I show you the sunrise.
Not being able to see the outside it made me
look at an area of our home in a different way...
Hallways!
Looking in I never noticed that you can see the stairway
to the Loft as you enter our home.
Entering from the garage door and looking back from coat closet door.
Coming out of the study looking at the future kitchen!
From the powder room to the laundry room,
then photo taken reversed.
I placed my rose chair at the future entrance of the pole barn
looking at the back of our home.
Now you are probably wondering why Andrew and Hallways?
Connections!
Like the hallways that connect our rooms in our home,
spending time with our Grandchildren connects us to them.
As easy as shooting hoops at the school!
Andrew is a very polite, follows direction
and most important is very Thankful for what you do with him and for him.
Thank you Andrew for making us remember the importance of Connections!
PS - Perhaps one of these photos of Andrew and Grandpa
will appear on one of the hallway walls!
